# 49 Rewarded for Receiving - Matthew 10:40-42

Jesus teaches His apostles how people will be rewarded if they receive the various people He sends to them. Jesus speaks of the apostles, the prophets, the righteous, and the little ones. In speaking about the little ones Jesus says that whoever gives a cup of cold water to one of these little ones will by no means lose their reward. Even the smallest acts of kindness towards God's sent ones will not go unnoticed.
