The Temptations of Jesus Christ. Jesus fasted and prayed and afterward was hungry. The tempter came and tempted Him. Jesus was tempted three times in this text, and He used Scripture to battle the enemy in all temptations. The devil, the tempter, and Satan will seek to bait you and get you to sin. It's possible to overcome by following the example of Jesus Christ.
