Family Camp Committee Meeting


This Sunday, July 13 after second service the Family Camp Committee is having their last Meeting before Family Camp.

Only one more week to wait for camp!!
July 20th - 27th @ Elk Island Campground
Brochures are available in the foyer of the church by the sanctuary doors.

Men's Bible Study

Every Monday night in our Friendship Center we have our Men's Bible Study @ 7 PM here at SLBC!
Currently they are finishing up the book of Revelation along with Pastor Kim's Commentary, "Revelation, the Unveiling"

Youth Group
Summer Program

Youth Group Summer Program! 

Wednesday nights here at SLBC we have our Youth Group for any kid's Jr. High through High School age.

We meet downstairs from 6:15 PM - 8:30 PM

Carnival in the Park

This coming Thursday, July 17th our Children's Ministry will be having an outreach event at Spirit Lake's Community Market held at Spirit Lake Park from 4 PM - 7 PM
There will be games, snacks, bouncy houses, and Gospel-centered conversations.

Potluck - July 20

 Next Sunday, July 20th will be our monthly Potluck downstairs between services.
Everyone is encouraged to come share a meal with your SLBC family. 
Bring your favorite dish to share and let's enjoy a time of  food and fellowship together!

Business Meeting

Next Sunday, July 20 after second service we are having our 2nd Quarter Congressional Business Meeting.
All who attend SLBC are welcome to sit and listen however, only members of SLBC, who have completed our New Members Class, may vote.

*Please be sure to take a Ministry/Business Booklet available in the foyer.

Men's Discipleship

Next Sunday, July 20th here at SLBC our Men's Discipleship group meets downstairs from 
4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Any homework due is available on our ministry wall in the foyer.
Please be sure to have all reading and homework assigned completed by the start of class.

Family Camp

Nursery Ministry
Volunteers

 We are still in need of a few more volunteers for our Nursery to function properly even in 5 Sunday months. Also, we have one volunteer in the Nursery during Sunday School time who needs a second person to help her. This is a great ministry to help out our young mother's and help their little ones. 
*If you are interested, please contact Becca to fill out paperwork for a background check and she will let MaryAnn know when you are cleared to be put on the Nursery Schedule.

Background Checks

If you would like to volunteer for any program or Event that involves working with anyone younger than 18 years old at SLBC, a Background Check Authorization must be completed and turned in to Becca in the office. Once you're verified with a clean background you will be contacted and can be scheduled in your chosen volunteer position.   
You must be reverified every 3 years to stay current.
