Work Day
Thank you to all who showed up and helped today at work day!! The church looks great!! Also lets give a big thank you to our SLBC Trustees for organizing the workdays and making sure everyone has something to do to help.
Our 1st Quarter Congregational Business Meeting is this Sunday, April 26th in our sanctuary immediately following second service.
All are welcome to attend the meeting to know what is happening with the business side of SLBC. Please note that Only those who are officially Members of Spirit Lake Baptist Church will be counted and seen as valid votes on any Recommendations or Motions.

GriefShare Group
Sunday's we offer our GriefShare Support Group. We encourage those who are grieving the loss of a loved one to please reach out to a friend, your GriefShare breakout Leader, or someone else you trust if you are needing support.
We have regular meetings scheduled each week on Sundays downstairs here at SLBC from 2 - 4 PM.

Men's Bible Study
Monday nights here at SLBC our Men's Bible Study meets at 7 PM in our Friendship Center. Their current study is of the book of Philippians along with the New Testament Commentary written by our own Pastor Kim Alexander. Come renew your mind through the scriptures!
Ladies Bible Study
Final Ladies Bible Study will be meeting from 9:30 to 11:30 this Wednesday morning in our Friendship Center with an end of season Potluck to follow

AWANA Club Night
We are at the end of the Awana year so this Thursday, from 6 - 8 PM, will be our last regular Awana Club Night. That means we only have this week to get all of our bookwork done and make sure we have recited our memory verses to our Leaders, so you receive credit for all that are marked down as complete before Awards Night.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast
Every month our Men's Ministry hosts a Men's Fellowship Breakfast downstairs at SLBC. It is a morning for fellowship, food, devotions, and discipleship with your brothers in Christ. Men of any age are encouraged to attend. We only ask that if you bring a young man under the age of 16 that you are responsible for watching them.

Ladies Night Out: Bunco & Potluck
On the First Tuesday of each month we have our Ladies Night Out where we get together to play Bunco & have a fun little Potluck at SLBC! All women are invited, so bring your friend and enjoy a night of fun, laughs, homemade snacks and treats while fellowshipping with your sisters in Christ!

Nursery Ministry
Volunteers
We are still in need of a few more volunteers for our Nursery to function properly even in 5 Sunday months. Also, we have one volunteer in the Nursery during Sunday School time who needs a second person to help her. This is a great ministry to help out our young mother's and help their little ones.
*If you are interested, please contact Becca to fill out paperwork for a background check and she will let MaryAnn know when you are cleared to be put on the Nursery Schedule.

Background Checks
If you would like to volunteer for any program or Event that involves working with anyone younger than 18 years old at SLBC, a Background Check Authorization must be completed and turned in to Becca in the office. Once you're verified with a clean background you will be contacted and can be scheduled in your chosen volunteer position.
You must be reverified every 3 years to stay current.
