Grief Share Group
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. Register below and join us here at SLBC Sunday afternoons from 2 PM to 4 PM downstairs for our GriefShare support group. Learn what to expect along your grief journey and how to handle the emotional twists and turns and daily challenges.

Monday mornings ABCS Homeschool Co-Op Group is back for their 2nd Semester of classes for this school year.

Turning Point USA Local Student Chapter Meeting
This Monday afternoon the Local Student Chapter of Turning Point USA has a scheduled meeting downstairs here at SLBC from 1 PM to 2:30 PM. All are welcome to attend.
They will only be meeting a couple more times and then no longer leading the chapter so if you are interested please come and keep this going for our young people.

Klempel's Home Group Members
Monday nights @ 6 PM the Klempel's Home Group are meeting here at SLBC downstairs because there is more space. If you have any questions please contact your facilitator, Ben Klempel.
Men's Bible Study
Monday nights here at SLBC our Men's Bible Study meets at 7 PM in our Friendship Center. Their current study is of the book of Philippians along with the New Testament Commentary written by our own Pastor Kim Alexander. Come renew your mind through the scriptures!
Ladies Bible Study
Ladies Bible Study is Wednesday mornings from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. We are studying "Heaven, When Faith Becomes Sight."

We are back to our normal weekly Youth Group schedule here at SLBC.
Wednesday nights from 6:15 PM to 8:30 PM all youth between 6th grade through 12th grade are invited to come have dinner, play games, and learn Biblical truths by our dedicated team of Youth Leaders.

Nursery Ministry
Volunteers
We are still in need of a few more volunteers for our Nursery to function properly even in 5 Sunday months. Also, we have one volunteer in the Nursery during Sunday School time who needs a second person to help her. This is a great ministry to help out our young mother's and help their little ones.

Background Checks
If you would like to volunteer for any program or Event that involves working with anyone younger than 18 years old at SLBC, a Background Check Authorization must be completed and turned in to Becca in the office. Once you're verified with a clean background you will be contacted and can be scheduled in your chosen volunteer position.
You must be reverified every 3 years to stay current.
