Men's Fellowship Breakfast

This month our Men's Fellowship Breakfast is tomorrow, Saturday, April 4th downstairs here at SLBC. Every month our Men's Ministry holds a FREE breakfast for men of all ages to come and be fed both spiritually as well as physically by their brothers in Christ. The guys preparing breakfast usually have it served at 8 AM so you are encouraged to come a little earlier to have time to fellowship with one another before.

SLBC's
Resurrection Celebration on April 5th!

He is risen!

Come join us for Worship at either our early morning, 8:30am or later morning, 11am service times and be sure not to miss the Celebration starting at 10 AM! We will have a Finger-Food's & Snack Potluck downstairs & a traditional Egg Hunt for the kids on the
outside lawn.
Don't forget to invite your friends & family too!

NO GriefShare Group
Sunday, April 5th

This Sunday we will not be holding our GriefShare Support Group. We encourage those who are grieving the loss of a loved one to please reach out to a friend, your GriefShare breakout Leader, or someone else you trust if you are needing support.
We will be back to our regular meeting schedule next week, Sunday, April 12, downstairs here at SLBC from 2 - 4 PM.

ABCS Co-Op
Classes

The Parents and Leaders of the ABCS Homeschool Co-Op are wanting to know what SLBC would like them to gift our church as a thank you for us opening our building to their families each week.
I am asking all of you to please pray about what we might be in need of or what we can use to help benefit some Ministry or Ministries as a church family.
Please email your ideas to slbc2u@gmail.com

Men's Bible Study

Monday nights here at SLBC our Men's Bible Study meets at 7 PM in our Friendship Center.   Their current study is of the book of Philippians along with the New Testament Commentary written by our own Pastor Kim Alexander. Come renew your mind through the scriptures!

Council Meeting

This Tuesday, April 7th, downstairs at 6 PM we will be having our 1st Quarter 2026 Council Meeting. I have most of the Ministry Reports from all Ministry Leads, however if you have not done so yet, please try to get yours to me by the end of day Sunday so that I can get the booklets together for our meeting. I realize I did not give as much notice as I usually do and that there has been a lot happening in everyone's lives. Please just do the best that you can to convey what has been happening the past quarter.

Nursery Ministry
Volunteers

We are still in need of a few more volunteers for our Nursery to function properly even in 5 Sunday months. Also, we have one volunteer in the Nursery during Sunday School time who needs a second person to help her. This is a great ministry to help out our young mother's and help their little ones.
*If you are interested, please contact Becca to fill out paperwork for a background check and she will let MaryAnn know when you are cleared to be put on the Nursery Schedule.

Background Checks

If you would like to volunteer for any program or Event that involves working with anyone younger than 18 years old at SLBC, a Background Check Authorization must be completed and turned in to Becca in the office. Once you're verified with a clean background you will be contacted and can be scheduled in your chosen volunteer position.
You must be reverified every 3 years to stay current.

Becca's Office Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 A.M. - 12 Noon

Connect Card

We would like to ask all of our visitors to fill out this Connect Card. Thank you.
